Vtg Japanese Wooden Lacquered Box
This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden diploma box. It has a reddish-brown color (almost red) and features a subtle natural wood grain through the lacquer. This Hida Shunkei-nuri diploma box was used to store a dental school diploma. The lid has inscriptions and beautiful cutouts on the sides, and a purple string to keep it closed. This box comes in a paper box.
