Vintage Japanese Lacquered Lidded Bowl
A glossy black with gold makie dots and textured red bands at the base, this vintage lacquered wooden lidded bowl is a beautifully decorative addition to any traditional Japanese kaiseki dinnerware set. This particular bowl is considered 箸洗い (chopstick washing), a bowl made for one-bite small foods or soups that act as a flavor cleanser or transition into the next part of the meal.
