Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll Figurine

This vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi doll figurine represents a hyotan, a Japanese gourd, and a red sakazuki flat sake cup decorated with the character for longevity. Inside the gourd are hidden two tiny kokeshi dolls, visible only from one side. The outside of the gourd is decorated with red, white and green floral designs. There is an inscription on the base.
