Vintage Japanese Ceramic Spoon
This is a Japanese vintage ceramic spoon with matching stand/rest. This type of spoon (chirirenge/renge) is used when eating ramen noodles or other soup dishes like nabe hot pot. They can also be used to eat fried rice. The spoon has an easy to hold handle and features a solid gray glaze and a white lined pattern with a chrysanthemum at the very end of the handle. This style of pottery is called "banko ware" and is made by Ginpo. The stand is a teardrop shape with the same design and color and has a maker's stamp on the bottom.
