Vintage Japanese Buddhist Altar Butsudan Decorative Parts
This is a vintage Japanese part of a Buddhist altar. It is a very beautiful decorative item carved from wood. It features a grand display of three divine beings among the clouds doing various things (playing music, carrying gifts, praying). There is a removable silk fabric attachment with a peachy-pink and gold chrysanthemum design with two tassels as well. This piece was originally part of a Buddhist home altar (butsudan).
