Japanese Pair Buddhist Altar Fitting Hanging Lantern Butsugu
This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist brass hanging lantern, or rinto, made to be hung in buddhist altars (butsugu). It is a bright brass gold color with detailed chrysanthemum floral motifs throughout. Rinto is a brass lantern used to light up the inside of a Buddhist altar with candles and some times can be made electric. It is also a beautiful decorative item on its own.
