Vtg Japanese Hakata Ningyo Clay Statue

This is a vintage Japanese Hakata Ningyo clay statue of a chubby kid in a festival costume. It is on the wooden stand. The kid is wearing a blue Happi and holds a rice paddle, Shamoji, and a hand drum, Tsudumi.  Having a rice paddle is one of the features of the Hakata Dontaku festival held in May in Fukuoka, Kyushu.  The details on the face are delicately painted.
