Antique Japanese Soldier Portrait Photograph
This is an antique Taisho Era soldier portrait photograph in a soft sepia tone. This young soldier has medals, so it is assumed they returned from battle. Often times portraits of soldiers were taken in full-dress before deployment as a keepsake for the family should they not return home. It comes adhered to the original thick, decorative paper card.

Fair condition age. Photo is faded and worn in many places. Dark marks and spots. Paper card is peeling apart at bottom corner. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
