Vtg Japanese Lacquerware Wood Box Bento Kashiki
This is a vintage Japanese lacquered bento lunch box called jubako. It is one-tier and caramel brown, true to the shunkei-nuri style of lacquerware. It can also be used as a Kashiki, a bowl or container that holds sweets for Japanese tea ceremonies. The box has kanji written on the sides, and a design of a circle on the lid.
