Vtg Japanese Lacquerware Table Legged Tray Ozen
This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden table or ozen. This low square table with curved legs is lacquered a glossy black. It features a golden brown traditional kanzemizu swirling water pattern.
This table is used on the floor for traditional meals at tea houses, kaiseki restaurants, and ryokan inns. One table is used by only one individual and sometimes it is paired with another smaller ozen.
