Vintage Japanese Hina Doll Accessory Set

This Japanese vintage ohinasama doll accessory set of two diamond-shaped offering tables for hishi mochi (layer mochi) is the perfect addition to any existing hina set or adds gorgeous Eastern flair to any home decor. This accessory set is typically placed on the hinadan, the doll shelf, as decoration. The two resin tables are black with gold embellishments. The rice cake (mochi) parts are made of wood and feature 5 layers. 

The Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year. Its purpose is primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of the festival and are prominently displayed in homes during it.
