Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. It is in the Oribe ware style. It features a green Oribe glaze, a pine tree painting, and intentional asymmetry on the rim. There is a signature around the foot.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used to prepare and drink green tea during tea ceremonies, but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
