Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Box
Wooden boxes are a standard method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. In addition to pottery, they are widely used for many traditional Japanese crafts, including kimono accessories, wrapping cloths, chopsticks, commemorative gifts, etc, and even food.
This lidded box is made of sturdy wood and is natural light brown in color. It is divided into seven compartments of different sizes and has inscriptions on the lid. It is excellent for general storage, DIY, or decoration.

- Good condition considering age. Light scratches. Chips on the edge. Tear on the one side panel, which makes a gap between the side panels and prevents the lid from closing fully. Please see the photos carefully.
