Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Box

Wooden boxes are a standard method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. In addition to pottery, they are widely used for many traditional Japanese crafts, including kimono accessories, wrapping cloths, chopsticks, commemorative gifts, etc, and even food.

This lidded box is made of sturdy wood and has a natural wood color. The lid is made of particleboard and has an inscription. The box has two compartments. It is excellent for general storage, DIY, or decoration.
