Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll 

This is a vintage Japanese wooden doll figurine from Tsuruga, Fukui. It has two child figurines in a straw snow coat, a shrine-gate-style frame with a straw rope wrapped, and signs with Kanji characters on a wooden base. Half of the front of the base has a textured green surface.
