This is a Japanese vintage wooden brazier fire pit set. A brazier is a heating appliance that was used until around the 1950s.
There are three main types of braziers: wooden, ceramic, and metal.
This is made of wood with a copper bowl inside, there is no need to worry about the spread of fire.
