This is a Japanese vintage wooden lacquered tray, or Obon, typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc.
A glossy medium brown in color with its natural wood grain on display, this small, sturdy round tray in true shunkei-nuri style provides both function and beautiful decor.
