Japanese Go Board Game Goban

This is a vintage Goban, or go board, used to play the popular strategy board game Igo, or Go. This sturdy 19x19 grid game board in a light brown wood color rests on 4 removable legs, creating a small table that is typically used on the floor.
Black and white stones are used as game pieces by two players. By placing the stones on the intersections of lines on a go board, the goal of the game is to section off a larger portion of the board as the other player.
