Japanese Go Board Game Goban
This is a vintage Goban, or go board, used to play the popular strategy board game Igo, or Go. Sturdy and heavy, this 19x19 grid game board in a medium brown color rests on 4 legs and creates a small table that is typically used on the floor.
Black and white stones are used as game pieces by two players. By placing the stones on the intersections of lines on a go board, the goal of the game is to section off a larger portion of the board as the other player.
