Japanese Wooden Calligraphy Tool Storage Box
This is a vintage Japanese wooden calligraphy tool storage box. It opens at one an on a small hinge and the lid folds in half to create a vertical stand. The inside of the lid has a metal rack made to hold brushed and other writing/drawing/painting tools in place during use and for storage. The base of the box has a removable classic suzuri ink stone and has plenty of extra space for added items such as hanko stamp pads, stamps, cloths, and semi ink sticks.
