Japanese Tea Ceremony Utensils Fabric Bag
This is a Japanese vintage fabric bag called Fukasa Hasami. It is used to store scrap paper, used toothpicks and other small items during the tea ceremony and other formal events. This bag is a red color Nishijin-Ori bag woven with silver and gold threads. It is adorned with pictures of ginkgo leaves. It has a big pocket on the inside and a half pocket on one of the inner sides. It is a clip-type design so it is opened on the top for easy access. This item comes in a paper box.
