Vintage Japanese Rice Processing Photograph
This is an original vintage early Showa Era daily life photograph of men and women working together bundling and processing rice. The rice is typically collected, baled up, and sent through a machine that separates the grains from the straw. After that, the remaining straw is collected, bundled up again, and then dried to be used in other areas of life such as for basket weaving, fencing, etc.
