Japanese Shell Kokeshi Doll

This vintage Japanese shell kokeshi figurine represents a family: parents with a baby, from Aoshima, Miyazaki. The figurine's face and the kimono pattern are painted. The figurines sit on a wooden stand with a wave-like design.  The stand has an inscription.
