Vintage Japanese Porcelain Meito China Teacup

This is a vintage Japanese porcelain Meito China teacup. It is the "Mandarin" pattern which features a rich burgundy-red color on the outside with handainted gold designs of flowers and plants. It is a very regal style. The inner rim has a patterned gold border.  There is a maker's stamp on the bottom that reads "Meito China Japan Hand Painted".
Meito China (now known as Narumi) was created in tandem with Noritake, another big name in fine china in the early 1900s.
