Japanese Tea Whisk Shaper, Kuse Naoshi
This vintage Japanese tea ceremony whisk shaper, called chasen kuse naoshi, is an extra addition to any traditional tea ceremony set. Made of porcelain with a celadon blue glaze, it has gently sloping sides and an open top.
It is used to keep the shape of chasen tea ceremony whisks. After using and rinsing, the tea whisk is placed upside down onto the kuse naoshi.
