Vintage Japanese Porcelain Rice Bowl
This item is a vintage Japanese porcelain rice bowl. This wide-mouthed-footed bowl is mostly sometsuke blue and white with a classic line band design and a thin brown rim. The foot of the bowl has two thin blue bands and a textured bottom for traction on slippery surfaces. Rice bowls are made to be lightweight and held in one hand (thumb on rim, other fingers on foot).
