Vintage Japanese Folding Fan Sensu
This is a traditional Japanese folding fan called sensu. You can use this when it's hot or as decoration. This small decorative fan is a simple metallic gold foil paper on one side with no designs. The back is silver. The frame is natural bamboo and coated with shiny black lacquer. This is made for formal or ceremonial occasions, such as weddings, and carried by women. The fan is small and also an excellent addition to tea ceremony sets or for small displays.
