Vintage Japanese Military Student Photograph
This is an original vintage Showa sepia tone photograph of a group of students during military education. In the lead-up to WWII, the Japanese government added military training/drills/fieldwork/volunteering/patriotic messaging to schools. It's often around this time that teen students would wear military-style uniforms instead of the typical black jacket uniform. Upon graduation, they were often expected or required to enlist.
