Vintage Japanese Sake Cup
This is a vintage Japanese commemorative sake cup, Sakazuki. It celebrated the visit to Meiji Jingu, a famous Shinto shrine in Tokyo. The cup is decorated with two crests and a torii gate. It also has inscriptions.
Sakazuki refers specifically to flat sake cups. Ochoko is a small cup that can be used to drink sake in one or two sips. Guinomi is a cup large enough to fit your nose when drinking sake.
