Vtg Japanese Marking Straight Line Tool for Carpentry
This is a vintage Japanese carpentry tool used for marking straight lines for woodworking. It has an ink pot and a spinning wheel with a metal handle. To make a straight line with black ink, it is necessary to coil a thread on the wheel, pour black ink or Sumi into the ink pot, and pin the ends of the thread on the wood surface, then flip the thread.
