Vintage Japanese Lacquered Lidded Bowl
This vintage lacquered wooden bowl with a lid is an iconic black and classic addition to any traditional Japanese dinnerware set. It has a thick bottom and is getting thinner to the rim. This particular bowl is considered an owan, made for soups or rice. It can also be used for other dishes. The bowl is easy to hold while eating, and the lid fits loosely on the top with an overhang.
