Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Drink Saucers

This is a five-piece set of vintage Japanese wooden lacquered drink saucers/coasters, or chataku. Stained a medium brown and brushed with a clear lacquer coating, this easily stackable set has a simple ring pattern on the inside that allows condensation to evaporate and also provides traction to ceramic and glass cups.
