Vtg Japanese Lacquerware Wood Box Bento Kashiki

This is a vintage Japanese lacquerware wooden bento box with a lid. This box can be used as a lunch box and as a Kashiki. Kashiki is a bowl or container that holds sweets for served at Japanese tea ceremonies. This reddish box and lid have some engraved lines that give texture to the simple yet elegant design.
