Japanese Tea Ceremony Cloth Holder, Chakinzutsu
This vintage Japanese tea cloth holder, called chakinzutsu, is an extra decorative addition to any traditional tea ceremony set. Made of kyo-ware porcelain, this cloth holder is mostly a crackled beige glaze with a colorful traditional shippo design.
Chakin is typically a white linen gauze cloth that is used to clean the tea bowl after preparing the matcha.
