Vtg Japanese Iron Furin Wind Chime
This is a vintage Japanese wind chime called furin. This one is made of iron metal and called tetsurin. This very unique iron bell is made up of three parts. The first is a large crescent-shaped charm piece that appears to be sea waves with fish, followed by a classic bell shape with a pinecone pattern, and then lastly a flat ringer that attaches to a plain white paper amulet that catches the wind and helps the bell ring. The entire thing hangs from a metal chain. It can be used as a room decoration or an ornament.
