Vtg Japanese Court Musician Hina Doll 

This Japanese vintage court musician hina ningyo doll dressed in an orange, navy blue, and gold kimono is the perfect addition to any existing hina set or adds gorgeous Eastern flair to any home decor. This doll is one of five court musician dolls called goninbayashi. They hold a fue, a type of flute carved of bamboo or wood, sometimes metal. This doll wears a black hat tied with an orange string and comes with a simple black resin stand. The doll is made in the kimekomi style, which is crafted by adhering and pressing silk fabric onto a carved wooden, resin, or clay base.

The Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year. Its purpose is primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of the festival and are prominently displayed in homes during it.
