Vintage Japanese Chochin Lantern
This is a vintage Japanese paper hanging lantern called chochin. This cylinder votive lantern is made with thin white washi paper, a bamboo frame, two black wooden parts on top and bottom, and a black metal handle. It is white and has big letters on the front and a rope and tanzaku design on the back. Some wires are attached at the bottom. It is stored in a cardboard box.
