Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It has a white crackle glaze with some engraved curved lines embellished with gold foil. The curved lines are gathered to form a sun-rising pattern or a floral pattern. This bowl is V-shaped and it is signed on the bottom. It is sturdy and easy to handle. Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
