Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It is made from a beige and brown clay and it has a green and beige glossy glaze. This bowl has inscriptions on the bottom. It has an irregular circle shape and an irregular edge which give it a rustic look. This type of bowls is traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies.
