Vtg Japanese Traditional Paddle Hagoita

This is Japanese vintage wooden paddle Hagoita for decoration.  It shows a Kabuki character Akaemon from Kabuki play Nanatumen on the front. On the backside, Japanese lucky charm Inuhariko is painted. This is cased in a paper box. This hagoita includes wooden stand  storage box and a stand. 

Hagoita is the wooden paddle used to hit shuttlecocks made of soapberry seeds and bird feathers, that is used to play the traditional Japanese pastime called Hanetsuki (Japanese badminton) during the New Year.
