This is a vintage Japanese ceramic pottery teacup. The cup has a smooth, crackled beige glaze covering the entire cup with black and blue vertical stripes. This cup has a heavier/wider bottom.
This cup is called yunomi, made for serving and drinking sencha (standard loose-leaf tea). It is typically brought to guests in one's home, a business, or a restaurant on a lacquered obon tray.
