This is a vintage Japanese ceramic small plate called meimeizara. This white and brown plate is square and is adornerd with a floral pattern at its center. Meimeizara are designed to work well with traditional Japanese sweets called wagashi. It is a small plate perfect to put small food or sweets such as cakes.
