Vintage Japanese Pottery Sake Bottle Kayoi-Tokkuri 

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic sake bottle. It is called a Kayoi-Tokkuri and is used to pour sake. The commuting sake bottle became popular as a rental container for liquor stores in the Edo period when sake began to be consumed on a daily basis. This period bottle is greenish brown.

• Good condition considering age. Glaze and clay imperfections. Chip on the mouth (inner part). Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
