Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. This thick bowl is glossy white. It has a Rokurome pattern on the side and hand-formed irregularity on the rim. There is a signature near the foot.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used to prepare and drink green tea during tea ceremonies, but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
