Japanese Calligraphy Brush
This is a vintage Japanese calligraphy brush, or fude in Japanese. The handle is black and features some inscription, mostly erased.
Brushes are traditionally used for Japanese calligraphy (Shodo) and for practicing Japanese character handwriting (Shuji). They can also be used for traditional Nihonga paintings.
