Vtg Japanese Buddhist Altar Butsudan Decorative Parts
This is a vintage Japanese part of a Buddhist altar. It is a very beautiful decorative small set of sliding doors in a frame made of wood with a black lacquer coating and gold accents. It has brass decorative metal plates that feature vines. The door panels feature birds (likely Ho-oh) along with chrysanthemums in beautifully hand-painted gold makie. It can be used as a spare part, for repair, or for decoration.
