Vtg Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Lacquer Offering Table
This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist altar fitting a wooden offering table. It is coated with gold and black lacquer. There are two types of offering tables Maejyoku and Uwajyoku. Uwajoku is placed in front of Amidanyorai. This offering table is used for a flower vase, a rice cup, and a kasha incense burner.
Maejoku is placed in front of the Shumidan. This offering table is used for 3 Gusoku (candle stand, flower vase, and incense burner).
