Vintage Japanese Bamboo Plate
This is a vintage Japanese bamboo plate. Woven with finely cut, thin strips of bamboo, this lightweight plate stands on four small block legs and has a plastic pipe frame to give it strength. This can be used for many purposes including for traditional wagashi and mochi sweets and for presenting rolled wet hand towels (oshibori) for guests. This item can also be used as a general serving or trinket tray.
