Antique Japanese Porcelain Plate

This is an antique Japanese porcelain plate. This round plate roughly the size of a western dinner plate is sometsuke (white porcelain with indigo blue design). It has a dense design of small flowers, petals, and what looks like a chrysanthemum at the very center.

• Good condition considering age. Large rough unglazed patch in center and smaller areas on top surface. Discolorations. General abnormalities in shape, glaze, and design from handcrafted production. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
