Japanese Clay Doll Statue Ningyo
This is an antique Japanese clay doll. Probably one of the seven lucky gods, Hotei's doll. Clay dolls (Tsuchiningyo) are Japanese traditional craft dolls. It is made by applying chalk to unglazed pottery that has been fired at a low temperature and coloring it with paint.
